VRU Interventions Fund

We are delighted to launch the first Northumbria Violence Reduction Unit Interventions
Fund – supporting intervention and engagement activity aimed at reducing violence.
The aim of the fund is to build the capacity and maximise the potential of organisations to
help ensure the delivery of a public health approach to reducing serious violence.

This document details the fund criteria and tells you how to apply.

The fund is managed by the Northumbria Violence Reduction Unit and is open to proposals
for work taking place in the Northumbria area across the six local authority areas of
Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland, South Tyneside and Sunderland.
Your application can benefit communities across the whole of Northumbria or one or more
of the local authority areas listed above.

DEADLINE EXTENDED – Please note the deadline has now been extended to Sunday 20th October at Midnight, for all applications.
